In the first nine months of 2010, Comarch Software und Beratung AG
(formerly SoftM Software und Beratung AG; ISIN: DE0007249104), a subsidiary
(80.89% of shares) of the Krakow-based international IT group, Comarch
S.A., achieved sales totaling 26.6 million euro (28 million). When
comparing the figures with the previous year, one should bear in mind that
the first nine months of 2009 included approximately 1.8 million euro in
sales revenues from the groupware business unit, which was sold in November
2009.

Sales revenues stood at 8.4 million euro for the third quarter slightly up
year-on-year (Q3/2009: 8.2 million; groupware: around 0.6 million).

The standard software business unit posted sales totaling 12.6 million euro
(12.8 million, groupware: 0.7 million euro) for the first nine months.
Sales of in-house software products rose, with revenues from the Java-based
ERPII Comarch Semiramis system substantially higher than in the same period
in 2009. New orders for software licenses advanced by over 30% in the first
nine months of 2010 to 3.4 million euro (2.6 million, groupware: 0.2
million euro).

The consulting business unit achieved sales revenues totaling 8.8 million
euro in the first nine months of 2010 (10.6 million). This decline was
linked to the disposals of the groupware business unit and SoftM
subsidiaries in Poland and the Czech Republic in the second half of 2009,
which together generated consulting revenues totaling around 1.2 million
euro.

The system integration business unit posted sales of 5.2 million euro (4.6
million) for the first nine months of 2010, a significant improvement
against the same period in 2009. The system integration service and product
range extends from sales of hardware through to solutions for company-wide
data storage, reliability and virtualization.

Comarch Software und Beratung AG posted an operating result before taxes,
interest and depreciation (EBITDA) of -1.7 million euro for the first nine
months of 2010 ( 3.1 million). EBIT came in at -3.6 million euro (-7.3
million). Net income for the first nine months was -3.6 million euro (-6.0
million). The result per share was -0.55 euro (-0.92 euro). These results
reflect the fact that the company upped investment in product development
in the first nine months of 2010. The company has forged ahead with new
features for the ERPII Comarch Semiramis software including developing a
new fully-integrated accounting system. Development costs rose in the first
nine months of 2010 to 8.4 million euro (7.4 million), which corresponds to
over 30% of sales revenues.

The Management Board anticipates a significant improvement in the fourth
quarter and expects sales revenues for 2010 to be in line with the 2009
figures. EBITDA should come in close to the zero mark.
