1st quarter 2001: ComputerLinks’ growth curve continues to rise
The IT marketing company ComputerLinks AG, which is listed on the Neuer Markt,
has also shown strong growth in the 1st quarter of 2001: sales, incoming orders,
EBITDA and cash flow each increased by approximately 200%.
The sales revenues of ComputerLinks AG rose by 197% in the first three months of
the year to 38.5 million euro, which means that sales per employee climbed from
0.11 million euro to 0.14 million euro. The Munich-based IT marketing company
achieved more than half of its sales, namely 53%, in the fast-growing sector of
e-security. The most important sales market was Great Britain, with a share of
over 50%, while 35% of sales was achieved in Germany.
The number of orders received increased by 219% to 42.8 million euro, and
earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) went up
by 189% to 3.3 million euro. As a result of the acquisitions in the previous
year, goodwill amortisation amounted to 1.2 million euro. Earnings before tax
(EBT) amounted to 1.8 million euro, and the quarterly surplus was 0.85 million
euro. The cash flow (according to the DVFA/SG definition) in the 1st quarter of
2001 was 2.31 million euro, exceeding the value of the same quarter last year by
about 170%.
Earnings per share before goodwill amortisation amounted to 0.34 euro and 0.15
euro after goodwill amortisation, on the basis of 5,847,250 shares. In the same
quarter last year, net earnings per share amounted to 0.17 euro before goodwill
amortisation and 0.15 euro after goodwill amortisation, on the basis of
4,500,000 shares.
