Føroya Landsstýri DKK Denominated 5.25 per cent Fixed Rate Notes 24 November
2008 / 24 November 2009 (ISIN DK0030120183) (the 'Notes') On behalf of the
Government of the Faroe Islands, Nordea Bank Danmark A/S shall hereby announce,
that the Government of the Faroe Islands has bought back and cancelled a
nominal amount of DKK 320,000,000 of the Notes. 

The aggregate nominal amount of the Notes outstanding after the cancellation is
DKK 654,000,000.
