The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Regensburg, November 13, 2001 – The Nuremberg-based firm eskatoo GmbH, in which feedback AG acquired a 62.5 percent participation in August, has petitioned the court for the opening of insolvency proceedings. feedback had acquired its participation in eskatoo based on the exercise of due diligence as well as favorable projections. With a cost structure that could only be reduced gradually, a significant shortfall arose in eskatoo’s sales projections. A concrete proposed solution that was advanced by feedback AG, which would have also required a commitment on the part of eskatoo’s two main banks, was rejected by the banks at short notice. After considering all the opportunities and risks feedback AG came to the conclusion that in the current market situation and in view of the need to revise its own business projections, the Company is not in a position to financially extend its commitment beyond its current contracted participation.
