Today the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the Danish FSA announced their
final assessment of the capital exercise and fulfilment of the EBA December
Recommendation. 

Jyske Bank's Core Tier 1 capital ratio was calculated at 12.1% at end-December
2011 and at 13.1% at end-June 2012. This demonstrates that Jyske Bank clearly
exceeds the minimum requirement of 9% stipulated by the EBA in the EU capital
exercise.
