Kleindienst: Positive EBIT in consequence of a good Q3 Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Kleindienst: Positive EBIT in consequence of a good Q3 Between January and September 2003, Kleindienst Datentechnik AG generated consolidated revenues of EUR 48.8 million and an operating income of EUR 0.3 million. This corresponds to a drop in revenues of EUR 4.6 million and in operating income of EUR 1.0 million year-on-year. In consequence of the good performance in Q3 (EBIT in Q3: EUR 0.5 Million), EBIT amounts to EUR plus 0.1 million (previous year: EUR plus 0.7 million). At EUR 38.9 million, revenues at the Enterprise Systems operating segment were down EUR 6.8 million on the same period of 2002. The main reason for this are the still unsatisfactory developments abroad, with the exception of the Company’s US business. Along with the revenues the operating result in Enterprise Systems was lower than in the previous year, although systematic cost structure optimization clearly limited this decline. Revenues in the Outsourcing Service operating segment rose substantially to EUR 11.6 million, a distinct plus after revenues of EUR 8.9 million in the previous year. This is mainly attributable to the new customers that the Company acquired in the past year. As a result of the revenue increase the operating segment generated a clear improvement in the result, despite non-recurring expenses recorded at the beginning of the year. As a result of positive cash flow net bank debt in the Group has been reduced from EUR 2.3 million to EUR 1.0 million in the period under review. As strong revenues and results are expected in the forth quarter, the Managing Board confirms its outlook for the fiscal year 2003, namely a decline in consolidated revenues by around 5% compared to the previous year and a clearly positive EBIT.
