The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Kleindienst: Revenues and result of 1st quarter match expectations Kleindienst Datentechnik AG has generated consolidated revenues of EUR 16.6 million and a consolidated operating result of EUR minus 0.4 million in the first quarter 2003. Revenues are accordingly EUR 3.5 million below the previous year, and operating result is EUR 0.7 million lower. EBIT amounts to EUR minus 0.6 million (previous year: EUR 0.2 million). Revenues and earnings of the 1st quarter 2003 are below the previous year as expected: In the operating segment Enterprise Systems the realization of a major contract abroad had a significantly positive impact on revenues and earnings in 2002, whereas the current year is influenced by a weak economic climate. At the same time the increasing focus on large-scale systems for payment processing in Germany leads to a reduction of domestic maintenance and service revenues. This expected reduction can not entirely be compensated by the increasing number of installations abroad and the maintenance and service activities associated with it. In the operating segment Outsourcing Service revenues developed positively and increased by EUR 1.3 million (corresponding to a plus of approx. 50%). Despite the increase in revenues, earnings in Outsourcing Service are at the same level as in the previous year due to non-recurring expenses. Overall, the Managing Board expects that the financial objectives for 2003 will be met: revenues roughly at the same level as last year and a clearly positive EBIT.
