The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Göttingen, February 04, 2003 – Lambda Physik AG (Neuer Markt, SIN 549 427), one of the world’s leading suppliers of pulsed UV lasers, receives compensation of USD 4.4 million from a lithography customer for previously cancelled lithography orders. The compensation payment from the customer relates to previously pushed-out orders for a product line that were cancelled due to the technological progress and introduction of the new 193nm laser generation. With the new 193nm laser A4003, Lambda Physik has the world’s lithography laser with the smallest bandwidth of less than 0.3pm (Single Oscillator design) at a repetition rate of 4kHz.
