The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Rösch AG Medizintechnik, Berlin, participating interest in Ritter Concept GmbH The Berlin company Rösch AG Medizintechnik (securities identification number 529 140) has taken a 44% stake in Ritter Concept GmbH in Zwönitz. This participation serves to complete the existing dental business and places Rösch in a position of being able to supply around 80% of dental equipment for dentists practices. A further shareholder besides Rösch AG is the production specialist Olpe Jena GmbH (a Jenoptik Group company), which holds a 46% stake. Olpe Jena GmbH and Rösch AG have been working together successfully for many years now with Olpe Jena GmbH producing the INJEX(tm) injector, the needle-free injection system. A 10% stake is held by clinic srl, Imola, Italy, a company which has extensive experience in the international sale of dental products. In addition to acquiring the name, the customer base and the order book, the newly formed Ritter Concept GmbH also secured the inventory, the service business as well as the production plants from the renowned German dental chair manufacturer, Ritter GmbH, as well as the production sites with land at extremely favourable conditions in the form of an asset deal. A module for needle-free local anaesthetics at the dentists chair-side, patented by Rösch AG, is set to be become a fixed, integral part of the next generation of dental chairs. On August 1, 2001, Rösch AG transferred the traditional Dental division from Berlin to the subsidiary company mdc medical digital concepts GmbH & Co. KG in Neu-Ulm. The reason for this move was to guarantee that the head office in Berlin is able to focus 100% on the further development and comprehensive launch of innovative needle-free injection technology.
