The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Rösch AG Medizintechnik, Berlin (SIN 529140), announces, that Mr. Andy Rösch, founding member and CEO of Rösch AG Medizintechnik, resigns by mutual agreement from his position in the Board of Directors as of April 12, 2002. The reason is the change in the company’s strategy, initiated by the Supervisory Board, and the focus upon the core business unit of ‘Needlefree Application- and Measuring- Systems’, which is headed by the new board member Prof. Dr. med. Burghard Weidler since November 1, 2001. The Supervisory Board plans to nominate Prof. Weidler for the position of CEO. A respective decision will be made until latest May 8, 2002. The remaining responsibilities of Andy Rösch will be transferred to Mr. von zur Gathen and Prof. Weidler. Andy Rösch is furthermore convinced of the potential of the company and will remain associated with Rösch AG in the future as consultant.
