SAP SI significantly increases revenue and profitability
Dresden, January 11, 2005. According to tentative figures, SAP Systems
Integra-tion AG (SAP SI), headquartered in Dresden, Germany, posted
consolidated revenues of approximately Euro 336 million in fiscal 2004
(January 1 to December 31) according to US GAAP, following Euro 280.3 million
in 2003. This represents an increase of about 20 percent. Earnings before
interest and tax (EBIT) rose from Euro 40.4 million by 45 percent to
approximately Euro 58.5 million. This corresponds to an EBIT margin of 17.4
percent, compared to 14.4 percent in fiscal 2003.
In the fourth quarter 2004, SAP SI posted revenues of approximately Euro 83
million, compared to Euro 79.3 million in the same period of 2003. EBIT was
Euro 16.5 million (Euro 13.3 million in Q4/2003). EBIT margin stood at 19.9
percent (16.8 percent in Q4/2003).
Revenue growth and EBIT margin for the full year and for the fourth quarter
were therefore significantly above expectations.
