Südzucker executive board proposes a dividend of 0.40 euro per share for fiscal 2021/22
Südzucker AG / Key word(s): Dividend Südzucker AG’s executive board decided at its meeting today – subject to a corresponding resolution by the supervisory board – to propose to the annual general meeting a dividend of EUR 0.40 (previous year: 0.20) per share for the 2021/22 financial year. The supervisory board meeting is scheduled for 18 May 2022, and the annual general meeting is to be held in virtual form on 14 July 2022. According to preliminary figures, Südzucker AG generated consolidated group revenues of about EUR 7.6 (previous year: 6.7) billion in fiscal 2021/22 (1 March 2021 to 28 February 2022). The EBITDA increased significantly in the same period to around EUR 690 (previous year: 598) million. Group operating profit also increased significantly to around EUR 330 (previous year: 236) million. With this announcement, the publication of the preliminary figures, which was scheduled in the financial calendar for 25 April 2022, no longer applies. The full report for fiscal 2021/22 will be published on 19 May 2022. In 2020/21, the group employed about 17,900 persons and generated revenues of EUR 6.7 billion.
