Owned 50% by each partner, the joint venture will include in a first stage an existing wood panel factory of Aconcagua located in Clarion, Pennsylvania, to be extended in a second stage, to also produce laminate floorings and MDF mouldings. By combining their expertise, respectively in the wood panel industry for Aconcagua and in the flooring industry for Tarkett, the two partners will operate jointly on the fast growing North and South American laminate markets.
