Kommalpha AG
5 years of Kommalpha – 5 years of institutional competence / From communication consultant to strategic consultancy in the institutional capital market
Kommalpha AG / Key word(s): Funds On 11th August 2011 Kommalpha AG will celebrate its 5 year anniversary in Hannover. With a client base of over 70 clients, Kommalpha is today one of the leading strategic and implementation consultancy businesses focussed on the institutional capital market in the German speaking environment. Over 25 permanent consultants operate from the locations Hannover and Zug. Half a decade has passed since the founding of the company in 2006. Reason enough to look back at the beginnings of what is today a very successful consulting company and take stock of the situation: in 2006, Hans-Jürgen Dannheisig and Clemens Schuerhoff founded Kommalpha Sales Consulting AG with headquarters in Hannover. In 2010, the company merged with Kommalpha Sales Consulting AG under the then management of Dirk Bednarz. The first international branch was opened in 2009 with Kommalpha (Switzerland) GmbH in Zug. Since then, Remo Leuppi is managing the international business development there as Managing Director. 'Our range of consulting services has been constantly expanding over the last 5 years,' states Hans-Jürgen Dannheisig, CEO of Kommpalpha AG, looking back at the business development. 'Today we provide advice to both buy side and sell side as well as IT service and solution vendors as a strategic consultant with institutional expertise. We distinguish ourselves through our stringent, knowledge-based, analytic approach, combined with a clear focus on the institutional capital market – and, of course through our experience.' In order to accommodate this growth, Kommalpha was internally restructured: the consultancy company used three senior managers, Thomas Prönnecke, Jessika Witt and Annette Lindinger, to create a new second level below the executive board. All three managers have many years of industry and management experience. Both last year and most recently in July of this year, Kommalpha was able to gain further personalities from the financial market sector as partners of Kommalpha: Burkhard Liewald, Rainer Schröder and Dr. Jürgen Bader. As a result of this constant growth, in November 2010 Kommalpha moved to new offices in Baarerstrasse in Zug and also opened new premises in the Ernst-August-Carrée in Hannover in the anniversary year. 'We will celebrate our 5 year anniversary on 11th August at the birthplace of Kommalpha in Hannover. We are proud that this event is being received so well with more than 100 decision-makers from the institutional market and will be one of the largest industry events in North Germany. With Leo Martin, Germany's former top secret agent and Spiegel bestselling author, as well as Liam Kennedy, IPE chief editor, we will present two unusual and captivating presentations on the key topic of trust in the financial sector to our guests' – rejoices Clemens Schuerhoff, executive director and founding member of Kommalpha.
