Artificial Life Verklagt MEDION AG auf Schadensersatz in Millionenhoehe
Artificial Life, Inc. 06.06.2011 10:46 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- BERLIN, HONG KONG and LOS ANGELES, 2011-06-06 10:45 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Artificial Life, Inc., (OTCBB:ALIFE), ein weltweit fuehrender Anbieter von Mobilfunk Anwendungen fuer iPhone/iPAD und Android Anwendungen und Anbieter von Mobile-Commerce Technologien hat heute Klage gegen den Elektronik Discounter und Aldi Lieferant MEDION AG (WKN 660500, MDN) eingereicht. Die Schadensersatzklage wurde von der Artificial Life Europe GmbH mit Sitz in Berlin (ein Tochterunternehmen der US Gesellschaft Artificial Life, Inc. mit Hauptsitz in Hong Kong) beim Landgericht Essen, dem Hauptsitz der MEDION AG eingereicht. Artificial Life klagt auf Schadensersatz in noch unspezifizierter Hoehe wegen Vertragsbruches, Diebstahl von geistigem Eigentum, Urheberrechtsverletzung, Verletzung von Vertraulichkeitsvereinbarungen und unerlaubtem Zugang zu den Computer Netzwerken der Artificial Life. Im Rahmen der Klage hat die Firma zudem beantragt, der MEDION AG jedweden gegenwaertigen und zukuenftigen Gebrauch der Konzepte, des Designs und des ueberlassenen geistigen Eigentums der Firma zu verbieten und alle ueberlassene Software umgehend zu entfernen und insbesondere den zukuenftigen Gebrauch des geistigen Eigentums der Artificial Life fuer Internet Verkaufs-Transaktionen oder zukuenftige mobile-commerce Anwendungen fuer mobilen Endgeraete der MEDION AG wie Tablets oder Smartphones, die ganz oder teilweise auf dem geistigen Eigentum der Artificial Life beruhen, voll umfaenglich zu untersagen. Artificial Life fordert zudem Schadensersatz in Hoehe von mehr als 6 Millionen USD fuer bereits gelieferte Service Leistungen und Lizenzen. About Artificial Life, Inc.
