The British DEAG subsidiary Kilimanjaro Group is strengthening its presence in Wales by opening its own office. This means that DEAG, through Kilimanjaro, is now represented in the UK as a fully national tour operator with offices in England, Scotland and Wales. The UK is one of DEAG’s core markets – the Group is one of the leading tour operators there and has achieved enormous growth since 2014. The Kilimanjaro Group has organised concerts by Ed Sheeran and the Stereophonics as well as the Wakestock music festival, among other acts, in Wales, in recent years. With the opening of the new office, DEAG will be able to further streamline its various activities in the UK even more closely and bundle its offerings. In particular, DEAG will benefit from synergies in the ticketing and live entertainment businesses, including working with DEAG subsidiaries Regular Music in Scotland and Singular Artists in Ireland, as well as the ticketing platforms myticket.co.uk, gigantic.com and tickets.ie. Detlef Kornett, Co-CEO of DEAG: “DEAG continues to grow successfully with Kilimanjaro. With the opening of the new office in Wales, Kilimanjaro will be able to act more flexibly as a national promoter and better serve the needs of visitors in Wales.
