The issuer / publisher is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTT DOCOMO announces lowering of minimum acceptance level and extension of acceptance period for net mobile offer - Minimum acceptance level reduced to 50 percent plus one share - Acceptance period extended until November 9, 2009 - German anti-trust and foreign trade clearance obtained TOKYO, JAPAN and DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY, October 26, 2009 --- DOCOMO Deutschland GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT DOCOMO, INC., today announced that it has reduced the minimum acceptance level for its public tender offer for net mobile AG to 50 percent plus one share of the currently issued 7,697,192 net mobile shares. As of 18:00 hrs (local time Frankfurt am Main) on Friday, October 23, 2009, a total of 45.05 percent of net mobile shares have been validly tendered to DOCOMO Deutschland. DOCOMO Deutschland also recently obtained antitrust clearance for its public tender offer for net mobile by the German Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt). The transaction was also cleared by the German Ministry of Economy and Technology. Clearance from banking supervisor BaFin is still pending. In accordance with the offer document, DOCOMO Deutschland announces that the acceptance period for the offer has been extended until Monday, November 9, 2009 24:00 hrs (local time Frankfurt am Main). The offer was previously scheduled to expire today, Monday, October 26, 2009 at 24:00 hrs (local time Frankfurt am Main). During this further period of 10 trading days, net mobile shareholders who have so far not tendered their shares have the opportunity to do so at the same price of EUR 6.35 in cash for each share in accordance with the offer. By tendering their shares, these net mobile shareholders avoid the risk of becoming minority shareholders, holding shares with limited liquidity.
