The cooperation will cover the planning, procurement and setup of turnkey installations. GEA Bischoff is a world leader in the development, engineering and construction of emissions-reducing systems for customers from a range of processing industries. The company, a subsidiary of the GEA group, operates in over 50 countries and leads the world market in the supply of gas purification processes for a range of applications. Technological leadership reinforced “We were particularly impressed by the highly advanced know-how of GEA Bischoff in the field of gas treatment,” states Julien Uhlig, CEO of agnion energy, adding: “This aspect ensures that we are competent partners and can drive forward our technological leadership.” Currently concrete inquiries have been received for a number of locations in Western Europe. The planned cooperation will mean that in future the projects of agnion energy can be implemented jointly with GEA Bischoff worldwide. The decentral wood co-generation plants of agnion energy are based on a stationary fluidised bed process. This enables the use of a range of fuels and produces a premium quality and energy-rich synthesis gas. The plants are designed for the generation of electricity and heating from solid biomass in the output range of 400 kW to 3 MW. agnion energy is a leading supplier of installations for generating electricity and heating from solid biomass. The company has its head office in Zittau, further locations in Düsseldorf and Pfaffenhofen, Bavaria, and a branch in Bolzena, South Tyrol.
