Global Dynamix Solutions GB PLC: GLOBAL DYNAMIX SUBSIDIARY CLEAN LIGHT GREEN LIGHT REPORTS 2010 FISCAL YEAR RESULTS AND 2011 FIRST QUARTER FORECAST
Global Dynamix Solutions GB PLC / Key word(s): Miscellaneous 08.02.2011 / 09:35 Mt. Clemens, MI-- Clean Light Green Light (CLGL) a subsidiary of Global Dynamix Solutions GB PLC trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol G6L, announced operating results for the 52 weeks ending December 31, 2010. 'Despite the global recession CLGL was able to grow 245% over previous year end sales and with newly formed alliances, multiple certified product releases, and the successful culmination of numerous pilot projects we believe 2011 will be a chart-busting year.' shared CLGL co-founder and VP of Global Business Development, Tom Meyer. 'We are actively promoting a relatively new technology to the world. Economic indicators are emerging that the U.S. is just coming out of recession and we are very encouraged by the positive activity regarding moving large projects forward in 2011' he adds. CLGL Chief Executive Officer, David McKinney, stated, 'Our performance for the last quarter and the year was less than we expected. We simply did not achieve the level of sales necessary to produce more desirable results. While there is wonderful progress with some very large retail companies and federal government entities that are currently testing our lighting, we truly anticipated that their pilot phases would have been completed earlier and we would have received the large orders by year's end to report. We remain solidly optimistic and committed to strengthening our appeal to large commercial customers throughout the world.' As with any new technology there is skepticism. Early on CLGL realized that in order to be successful and well recognized in the industry, they needed to first garner the proper lighting industry certifications. It was concluded it would be counterproductive to engage in an aggressive marketing campaign without certifications from the Department of Energy (DOE), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Underwriters Laboratories (CUL), Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (ROHS) and Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) that confirm output, energy usage and savings claims. Large scale clients would simply not be willing to invest in non-verified products. Achieving these certifications was time consuming yet a highly critical aspect of the strategy to successfully market and sell the products by instilling confidence in their performance. McKinney relates 'Until relatively recently we were limited in our offerings and our hands were somewhat tied as we methodically grew our certified product portfolio, yet we were still able to increase our sales. We accomplished this without a serious marketing effort and a relatively small sales team, tempering our sales efforts to keep pace with our product certification schedule. The modest increase in sales we enjoyed speaks volumes to the quality of our products.' The sales force is now growing steadily all over the world as new distributors and manufacturer's reps are inquiring and contracting to sell CLGL LED lighting. 'The fact that we have solid certifications and can sell into many global markets has given us a distinct competitive advantage that will become evident this year. We are already confirming this advantage with recent robust orders from the Renewable Energy Division of Spain's Marina d'Or', Meyer emphasizes. Through the previously announced strategic alliance with Marina d'Or, CLGL has been awarded its first large hotel project in the first quarter of 2011. 'This is very encouraging news and is an example of deals we expected to close by the 2010 year end that will spill over to 2011.' says co-founder and VP of Strategic Alliances, Rudy Mayes. 'We feel businesses in 2010 remained cautious with spending and instead conducted extensive testing and due diligence so they could move swiftly on capital expenditures that help their companies' performances moving forward.' In addition to the positive economic news being reported in the U.S., in late 2010 CLGL was able to reduce product prices by 20 percent while retaining their profit margin through the design of next-generation LED lighting engines that are not only more cost effective but increase lumen output by up to 40 percent. 'We released the new pricing in January 2011 to our North American representatives and distribution points. They have been well received, and we feel this will translate into volume sales for 2011.' said CEO McKinney. As noted by Strategies Unlimited analyst Robert Steele in a report titled 'The Market Outlook for High Brightness LEDs in Lighting Applications', most LED lighting product and market development is carried out by small, specialized companies. With the largest global portfolio of commercial, municipal and industrial LED lighting, the majority of industry certifications accomplished, a highly knowledgeable team that is leading the evolution of LED lighting, and numerous large scale pilots completed, CLGL is poised to claim a lion's share of the projected 150 billion dollar LED retrofit market. 2011 First Quarter Forecast Revenues Sales $2,600,000 Other Income $50,000 Total Revenue $2,650,000 Cost of Sales $1,836,450 Gross Profit $813,550 ** END OF NEWS RELEASE ** About Global Dynamix Solutions GB PLC Wholly owned U.S. subsidiary Clean Light Green Light (CLGL) develops, manufactures, and sells commercially viable LED lighting designed to retrofit into existing infrastructure as well as new construction.
