O'Sullivan assumed the position on June 14. O'Sullivan brings with him more than two decades of experience in healthcare. He began his career with the Department of Health in Ireland working in hospital facility and service line development. For the past 10 years, he has served in a range of leadership roles in hospitals throughout the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. Most recently, O'Sullivan served as the Chief Operating Officer for Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. His leadership played an instrumental role in helping Memorial Hermann Katy achieve recognition from Thomson Reuters in its annual 100 Top Hospitals(R) National Benchmarks study. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the Whittaker School of Government at the Institute of Public Administration in Ireland, and he received a Master of Science from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.
