('Romios' ) (TSXV – RG) is pleased to announce the results of the 2006 diamond drill program on its Newmont Lake Property located in the Galore Creek area of Northwestern British Columbia. The property lies 30 kilometres SE of NovaGold’s Galore Creek deposit and is the same distance NW of Barrick’s Eskay Mine. Romios tested the NW Zone with five core holes from a common drill pad. Two of these drill holes, DDH06-07 and DDH06-08 were confirmation holes near the Gulf Minerals International drill holes 90-02 and 90-05 completed in the early 1990’s. One Romios hole, DDH06-09, tested the continuity between the two confirmation drill holes. A fourth drill hole, DDH06-10 further defined the limits of the NW Zone. Drill hole DDH06-07 intersected a wide zone of gold-copper-silver mineralization from 55.56m to 67.77m (12.21 metres or 40.0 feet) in the hole. Within this zone, a continuous interval of higher grade mineralization was encountered between 62.72m and 66.65 m (3.93 metres or 12.9 feet) which contained a weighted average of 19.47 g/t (0.568 oz/t) in gold, 2.64% copper and 31.16 g/t (0.91 oz/t ) in silver. Two separate mineralized sections higher in the hole, between the interval 57.69m and 59.12m (1.43metres or 4.69 feet) and the interval 60.80m and 61.25m (0.45 metres or 1.48 feet), the core assayed 28.70 g/t (0.84 oz/t) in gold, 0.39% copper and 8.0 g/t (0.23 oz/t) in silver and 31.10 g/t (0.91 oz/t) in gold, 1.79% copper and 13.1 g/t (0.38 oz/t) in silver, respectively. In DDH06-10, a wide zone of continuous gold, copper and silver mineralization was encountered from interval 34.24m to 57.32m (23.08 metres or 75.7 feet) containing values ranging up to 9.51 g/t ( 0.27 oz/t) in gold, 1.34% copper and 19.3 g/t (0.56 oz/t) silver over varying sample widths. See table for details. Although the true widths of the intersections are not known precisely, based on the interpretation that the Northwest Zone consists of irregular, sub-horizontal bedding planes; the true widths may be considered to be 70% of the reported widths. The following table lists the noteworthy assay results from the Romios 2006 diamond drill program on the NW Zone. ('Gulf') between 1987 and 1990 when 154 holes totalling 16,993 meters in length were completed. All samples submitted for analysis by Gulf were assayed for gold but not all were analyzed for copper and silver. All samples submitted by Romios were analyzed for gold, copper and silver by ICP analyses because of the recognition of copper and silver values within the NW Zone mineral occurrence. Samples with high results from ICP analyses were further tested by fire assay for gold and Atomic Adsorption for copper and silver. Samples are derived from 50% splits of BQ diameter core. Samples are then shipped via secured third-party land and air transportation companies and analyzed by Eco-Tech Laboratories, located in Kamloops, British Columbia., an ISO certified company. In addition to the laboratory's quality control program, a rigorous on-site quality assurance and quality control program was implemented involving the insertion of blanks, standards and splits. The claims which comprise the Newmont Lake Property form an irregular staircase shaped block approximately sixteen kilometres long and six kilometres wide that covers a northeast oriented graben structure underlain by Late Triassic to Early Jurassic aged intrusives, sediments and volcanic rocks. In the Iskut River region these rock units have potential to host high grade vein type gold occurrences such as the Snip deposit, volcanogenic massive sulfide mineralization similar to that developed at Eskay Creek, skarn type copper-gold occurrences, and alkalic, porphyry copper-gold type mineralization similar to that presently being evaluated by NovaGold Resources at their Galore Creek Project. A total of 22 intrusion related gold, copper and silver prospects located in the Newmont Lake area are all located within Romios’ Newmont Lake property. The management of Romios is pleased with the results of the 2006 drill program at the NW Zone in that they confirmed the presence of a high copper and silver component in the zone of gold mineralization which was poorly quantified in the earlier drilling carried out by Gulf, whose principal focus was only the gold content of the occurrence. The results also confirmed the previously identified mineralized boundaries and the high gold grades in the NW Zone. A 3D induced polarization (I.P.) anomaly southwest of the Jazzman Zone was tested by three holes, DDH06-01, DDH06-02 and DDH06-03, all drilled from the same pad. The IP anomaly identified by SJ Geophysics is attributed to weakly graphitic and silicified black shale unrelated to the sulphide mineralization of the Jazzman Zone. Consideration is being given to additional drilling in this area. Two drill holes DDH06-02 and DDH06-03 intersected a marble with both weak sulphide and jasper mineralization which was not detected in the IP survey. The mineralization in DDH06-02 extended from 8.23m to 10.83m (2.6 metres or 8.5 feet) and yielded a maximum analysis of 0.720 g/t gold by ICP. The mineralization in DDH06-03 extended from 14.33m to 17.49m (3.16 metres or 10.37 feet) and assayed a maximum of 0.725 g/t gold. Drill hole DDH06-01 drilled under the sulphide mineralization. Two other drill holes were attempted closer to the Jazzman Zone but failed to penetrate the glacial till and thick talus overlying the bedrock surface. Samples were analyzed using 28 element ICP analysis. Drill hole DDH05-01 was drilled in 2005 on the Black Bear Zone but un-logged or sampled. Logging and sampling of the core was completed in 2006. All samples assayed less than 1.0 g/t gold or 1.0% copper. Four samples from drill hole DDH05-01 had elevated zinc values (above 0.10%) by ICP analysis. All drilling recovered BQ sized core. The core was logged and split and the sample splits were submitted for assay with inclusions of standards, blanks and repeat sample splits in conformity with 43-101 guidelines.
