Düsseldorf/St. Gallen – December 07, 2011. The exceet Group SE, a leading provider of embedded intelligent electronics and card-based security technology, intends to acquire Inplastor GmbH, the Austrian full service provider of card-based loyalty and ID security solutions. exceet Group SE and Inplastor signed a purchase contract on December 1, 2011. Both parties have agreed not to disclose specific details of the purchase price. In this way, the exceet Group will continue to follow its expansion, which started in 2006 when Ventizz Capital Fund III, L.P. first invested in the Group. Inplastor GmbH, based in Vienna, produces 25 million plastic and chip cards for loyalty and security solutions each year. Inplastor serves Austria's largest retailers and is the market leader for the development and production of personalised loyalty solutions in Austria. Turnover in the financial year 2011 is expected to be around 9 million euros. As an innovative provider, with a specific focus on the Austrian market, Inplastor perfectly complements the portfolio of exceet Group with its production centres in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. 'exceet is an impressive growth story and the integration of Inplastor is a logical step towards the expansion of exceet's leading position in the German-speaking region,' said Willi Mannheims, Managing Partner of Ventizz Capital Partners Advisory AG, which exclusively advises the Ventizz funds. Ventizz Capital Fund III, L.P. reduced its stake in exceet Group AG in June 2011 and sold shares to the 'Special Purpose Acquisition Company' (SPAC) Helikos SE. Since July 27, 2011, following successful de-SPACing, the company has been trading on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt stock exchange under the name exceet Group SE.
In the first 9 months of the financial year 2011, the exceet Group generated total revenues of 128.9 million euros. This amounts to a significant increase of more than 51 percent compared to 85.1 million euros recorded over the same period in the previous year. Ventizz Capital Partners was established in 2000 and has offices in St. Gallen, Zurich, Düsseldorf and Vienna. Ventizz Capital Partners is the exclusive advisor to the Ventizz Private Equity Funds, which provide growth capital and buyout financing for high tech companies in Western Europe. Four partners and a team of 15 additional professionals currently advise four funds with a total capital under management of EUR 675m. Ventizz Capital Fund IV L.P. is the largest of four funds established so far.
