About CobraLeaf(R)
Compared to the modern devices in Western Europe which focus the beam of rays onto the tumors with very high precision, with the cobalt-machines as used in Ukraine, the surrounding healthy tissue is being irradiated as well.
Exposing the healthy tissue to the radiation will impede the rehabilitation of patients and might have additional negative consequences.
The device being delivered to Ukraine within this project is intended be attached to the existing cobalt-machine. Several lamellae also shape the ray in various ways to irradiate only the tumor itself. Thus the healthy tissue is being protected contributing to the rehabilitation of the patients and enhancing their chances for a complete recovery.
