Vitafy looks at buys to expand own brand portfolio
Munich, 15th of July, 2019 – Vitafy (www.vitafy.de), one of the leading providers of nutrition and dietary supplements in the fitness, weight management and healthy functional food sector, is looking to make further acquisitions in 2019/2020 of brand companies in Germany and Europe. Vitafy just recently acquired the fitness brands Bodylab and Gymqueen in January 2019. The integrations have been successfully conducted and synergies were realized as planned, says managing director and co-founder Georg Bader. Besides M&A, Vitafy is organically expanding its online business via multiple platfoms (i.a. vitafy.de, gymqueen.de, bodylab24.de) and its growing stationary retail distribution network. Since the beginning of this year further brand listings with partners such as Kaufland and Rossmann have been signed, including successful listings of the acquired companies. Vitafy is now again looking for acquisitions, targeting mid-sized brands in the fitness and healthy functional food sector with revenues between 10 and 50 million Euro to further complement Vitafy’s attractive brand portfolio. Vitafy is receptive to an M&A financial advisor that would assist it in searching and identifying a target, and with financing of larger targets – so Georg Bader. The acquisition of a further brand company would allow Vitafy to broaden its brand and product portfolio and realize further attractive growth synergies – both nationally and internationally. Vitafy has grown its initial e-Commerce platform business into a house of attractive fitness and functional food brands.
